Business is never-ending.

When you have a job, you get holidays. But when you’re in business, you have to MAKE holidays, or they never happen.

After being in business for over 12 years, I rarely take a real holiday (that is, where I do zero work, and don’t check messages/emails/my membership etc.). Usually, it’s 1 week a year that I do this.

Even when I’m travelling (which isn’t going to happen for a while!) I’m still working 🙂

And as much as I love my work – we all need downtime.

To rest, to dream, to let ourselves focus on things other than our work for a while.

I hope you never experience burnout, but if you do, you quickly realise the necessity of rest. This was a lesson I learnt the hard way many years ago. It means my weekly schedule has plenty of downtime (including no work on weekends) which means I can work most of the year sustainably.

But now, it’s time for my holiday!

I’m taking a whole month off from social media and from creating content – all of July 2020.

I’m planning to completely avoid looking at or posting on Instagram, Facebook & Twitter during this time.

My only exception is that I’ll be checking in on my Thriver Circle members a few times a week in our Facebook Group, and running my normal live events for you 🙂

I’ve done shorter social media sabbaticals before, but this will be my longest one yet. I’m excited to see what comes of it!

If you need to get in touch during this time – please email me.

I’ll also be taking a full holiday – at least one full week completely offline and off work (I might even stretch it to two…). If you’re in the Circle, I’ll be away during this time, but Nick & Amanda will be around to take care of you!

I’m also closing membership to the Thriver Circle in July – but don’t worry – if you want to join us, membership will be opening again in August!

I plan on baking, learning more about strength training, gardening, walking & hiking, reading a lot of books, having some slow lazy brunches at beach cafes – and just generally living in the moment without giving a thought to what to post to my Insta stories 😉

I’ll catch you on the flip-side. Take care of yourselves, and each other!
