I always send an email to my customers. Lots of the things I sell are customised, so I like to confirm I can make up what they have asked for. But I also think it’s good to let them know when I will be posting their order and to say a personal thank you. I feel a bit disappointed actually if I buy from a handmade seller and don’t get any personal communication, I think it should be one of the advantages of buying directly from individuals.
